I didn't appreciate that SLOW set up season opener. Episode 2 definitely shoulda been our season 2 premier. I agree that we have zero time for fillers. They've been on break a couple years and that's more than enough time to have all episodes be filled with fireworks.

The Greens are definitely the villians. They have the most hypocrisy. The fact that Allicent is engaged in the relationship she has with Sir Chrispy is PROOF that all she cares about is power. She is not as honor driven as she wants people to believe her to be. I don't feel sorry for the Greens. They are going to have a hard time...with so few emotionally stable people around them. I do hate that Rhynera couldn't keep Daemon by her side....yes I am looking forward to the razzle dazzle.

I genuinely struggle to understand how some people watched these opening episodes and think that the action at the end is 'the good part' and the rest is "filler". Y'all need loud noises and flashing lights to stay focused that bad?

I think the pacing is off for me too. I think I might just wait until the season is over and watch the rest of the episodes at once. I tend to get wrapped up in the final moments only for it to be over.

As a book reader I think it’s moving too fast 😂 seeing Aegon & the greens grieve & Otto use it & Aegon ruin it! Alicent & Cole’s guilt was great to watch. Rhaenyra reading Daemon was sooo needed! The Daeron name drop finally! I thought they forgot about Alicent’s youngest son. The twins duel was heartbreaking & Aemond showing remorse for Luke’s death was also needed. People get too caught up in battles but I live for the character development & small council meetings that’s what made GOT great not the battles but the lead up.
